Are Subprime Mortgages Coming Back?

After the excesses of the housing bubble led to the worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression, we have gone from too much lending to too little. Some are suggesting that a revival of the subprime-lending industry could help while others are questioning whether enough safeguards have been put in place.  What do you think?
